In 2015, Hanoi Open University (HOU) and Indonesia Open University (known as Universitas Terbuka Indonesia or UT) joined the collaboration. Subsequently, the online journal issues are published under the Editor-in-Chief, a position that is rotated among the journal’s Publication Committee Chairpersons. The editorial members consist of academics from all five universities. These universities are also members of a joint collaborative research group known as OU5. The AJODL is dedicated to the promotion of ODL, particularly in the ASEAN region.
